High School Internship Program

Field Internship (April 1, 2024 - June 25, 2024)

As a campaign representative, Field Interns will assist our Field Department by participating in direct voter contact activities such as canvassing and phone banking to speak with voters about our platform and provide voting information. Interns will collect crucial data for the department. Interns will also have the opportunity to staff community events with the candidate.

Requirements:

How the Internship Works:

Our Field Internship has a highly flexible schedule to accommodate your school and extracurricular obligations. Internship hours will be after school and on weekends to fit your availability. You do not need to complete a certain number of hours each week; you merely check the calendar to see what days and times are open and pick when you want to join. For example, you could skip working for two weeks during exams and then work more days when your schedule is lighter. Most of our work will be in person, but we will have plenty of remote days for students’ convenience. We do this to make scheduling as easy as possible for students’ different obligations, and we are happy to create other reasonable accommodations so students can participate. We work five days a week, so you will have plenty of opportunities to accrue hours! We offer two types of Field Internships; both are exactly the same except for the required hours below.

*If you cannot complete 75 hours by the program’s conclusion, you will still be a Junior Field Intern. You will be promoted to Field intern if you joined as a Junior Field Intern but completed 75 or more hours.
