I believe that LGBTQ+ Americans deserve equal rights and protections, and I have and will continue to fight for the rights of these individuals.
I have attended numerous rallies calling for the equality of all LGBTQ+ individuals. As lawmakers, it is important that we are allies to vulnerable communities that are often overlooked in the legislative process. Additionally, I will never support any legislation that takes advantage of or doesn’t protect members of the LGBTQ+ community.
